Belize is a nation on the eastern coast of Central America, with Caribbean Sea shorelines to the east and dense jungle to the west. Offshore, the massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, hosts rich marine life. Belize’s jungle areas are home to Mayan ruins like Caracol, renowned for its towering pyramid; lagoon-side Lamanai; and Altun Ha, just outside Belize City.
Religion
The people of Belize are a religious people. There are at least nine major religious bodies in Belize with Roman Catholicism being the largest faith community; 62% of Belizeans are Catholic. Anglicans and Methodists are well represented among the 30% Protestant population. There are also a number of Rastafarians in Belize. Only about two percent of the population claims no religious affiliation.

Religion
Due to the long influence of Spain the dominant religion on the island is Roman Catholicism. When Puerto Rico became American property the island was opened to Protestant influence, which is said to now claim as much as twenty percent of the population.
Haiti officially the Republic of Haiti and formerly called Hayti, it occupies the western three-eighths of the island Hispaniola which it shares with the Dominican Republic. The North Atlantic Ocean lies to the north, while the Caribbean Sea lies to the south. Haiti is a country with a troubled past, and its future still remains uncertain. Decades of poverty, environmental degradation, violence, instability, dictatorship and coups, and a devastating earthquake, among other things, have left it the poorest nation in the western hemisphere.
Religion
The influence of French colonialism is still in Haiti even after 200 years. The official language is French but the majority of the people speak Creole, a mixture of French and African. Roman Catholicism accounts for 80% of the religious population most of whom also practice voodoo. Only sixteen percent of the population are Protestant.
Africa has 54 sovereign countries—the most on any continent—and is the second largest continent in terms of both land area and population. Africa is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, by the Red Sea to the northeast, and by the Indian Ocean to the southeast. Africa is a vast continent spanning over 8,000km (5,000 mi) north to south and 7,500km (4,800 mi) east to west (not including islands) and contains a wide array of peoples, skin colours, religions, and cultures.
Religion
Religion in Africa is multifaceted and has been a major influence on art, culture and philosophy. Today, the continent's various populations and individuals are mostly adherents of Christianity, Islam, and to a lesser extent several traditional African religions. In Christian or Islamic communities, religious beliefs are also sometimes characterized with syncretism with the beliefs and practices of traditional religions.
Fiji sometimes called the Fiji Islands, is a Melanesian country in the South Pacific Ocean. It lies about one-third of the way from New Zealand to Hawaii and consists of an archipelago of 332 islands, a handful of which make up most of the land area, and approximately 110 of which are inhabited.
Religion
Today Christianity makes up about 52% of the population, with 37% being Methodist and 9% Roman Catholic. Owing to the large population of people of Indian heritage, dating back to the importation of Indian labor by the British for sugar production, about 38% of the population is Hindu. Muslims make up about 8% of the population.
Israel, a Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, is regarded by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. Its most sacred sites are in Jerusalem. Within its Old City, the Temple Mount complex includes the Dome of the Rock shrine, the historic Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Israel's financial hub, Tel Aviv, is known for its Bauhaus architecture and beaches.
Religion
Israel is officially a Jewish state. Muslims are 16% of the population, 2% of the population are Christian, and 1.5% are Druze.
